SENIOR ANIMATOR

As our Senior Animator, you will be one of the driving forces that will bring the game to life. You must be able to develop convincing performance and movement for combat, characters and creatures. You will be working directly with the animation lead, producers and other developers so you need to be an effective team player.

 

Skills required:

-  Must produce high quality animation for the game

-  Understanding in all areas of character creation such as Rigging, Modelling and Texturing 

-  Must be able to scope out tasks and provide accurate timeline and schedule to complete

-  Excellent time management skills

-  Excellent attention to detail 

-  A good communicator and an effective team player

Experience required:

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent

-  Minimum of 5 years in experience in the games industry

-  Experience in AAA games

-  Excellent knowledge in Maya and Unreal Engine 4 

-  Experience working with Motion Capture Animation

 

SENIOR SHADER ARTIST

As a Senior Shader Artist, you will be creating grounded and believable materials to assist the environments and characters team. You will collaborate with leads, producers and other developers to ensure the team is able to achieve a performant world for players to explore.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:

-  Produce high quality shaders to support the overall art vision for the game

-  Author a wide variety of materials and shading pipelines

-  Identify and solve technical challenges

-  Scope out tasks and provide accurate timeline and schedule to complete

-  Produce and manage complex tasks independently to a high standard

-  Provide valuable ideas to discussions but also achieve direction

 

Skills required:

-  Be able to produce functional shaders in the game engine

-  Must have creative eye and technical skills

-  Understanding of AAA shaders and overall art quality

-  Good leadership skills and be able to assist and mentor others

Experience required:

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent

-  Minimum of 5 years experience in the games industry

-  Unreal Engine 4 experience is required

-  Strong understanding of Substance Designer, Painter and Quixel

-  Previously worked on AAA titles is required

SENIOR TECHNICAL ARTIST

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be solving technical issues for the art department. This will allow the team to work efficiently and perform to a high standard.

Responsibilities are but not limited to: 

-  Solve technical issues for the art department 

-  Plan pipelines and workflows 

-  Document and communicate tools and workflows to the art and wider team ● Solve technical issues both in engine and DCC applications to ensure the art department can operate efficiently and the game runs smoothly

 

Skills required:

-  Be able to understand and follow directions 

-  Solve technical issues for the art department 

-  Excellent communication and problem solving skills 

-  High level knowledge of Maya and Unreal Engine

-  In depth profiling knowledge for consoles and PC

-  Understanding of procedural asset creation and Houdini is a bonus 

Experience required: 

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent 

-  Minimum of 5 years in experience in the games industry

 

SENIOR FX ARTIST

As a Senior FX Artist, you will be creating a wide variety of effects for our game. You will be working closely with leads, producers and other developers. As a senior team member, you are expected to work effectively and perform to a high standard.

 

Skills required: 

-  Must be an expert in Maya and Photoshop 

-  Must be an expert in Unreal Engine 

-  Ability to create high quality visual effects for the game 

-  Strong knowledge of visual communication through effects 

-  Ability to work with production and prioritise tasks to ensure deliverables are completed on time 

-  Solve technical problems and issues 

-  Strong communication skills 

-  Be able to mentor the team as required 

Experience required: 

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent 

-  Minimum of 5 years in experience in the games industry 

-  Experience in Houdini is a bonus 

SENIOR CHARACTER ARTIST

As a Senior Character Artist, you will be working with Leads, Producers and other developers. You are expected to produce in-game features from high-level direction and your work should be of high standard with consistent high quality results.

 

Skills required: 

-  Ability to follow and understand directions 

-  Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 4, Maya, Zbrush and Substance Suite ● Strong technical modelling skills 

-  Understanding of human and creature anatomy 

-  High attention to detail and ability to translate concepts and ideas 

-  Be able to prioritise tasks to ensure that deliverables are completed on time ● A team player who can train and mentor other artists as required 

Experience required: 

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent 

-  Minimum of 5 years in experience in the games industry

SENIOR LIGHTER

As our Senior Lighter, you will be one of the driving forces that set the aesthetic tone of the game. You must be able to light realistic real-time levels, cinematic sequences, and trailers. You  will be working directly with the Art Director, producers and other developers so you need to be  an effective team player.

Skills required:  

-  Be able to identify and solve technical challenges: e.g. troubleshooting large scale scene files,  rendering issues 

-  Be able to troubleshoot materials for PBR compliance 

-  Be able to create and maintain probes for image-based lighting and reflections

-  Be able to set up scene lights to match colour keys and concept art 

-  Create and maintain post fx (smoke, color correction, etc) 

-  Work closely with artists to make sure assets are set up for lighting 

-  Understand AAA, dramatic and open world lighting 

-  Produce high quality lighting to support art direction, gameplay and overall vision

-  Understand source control with Perforce or the equivalent 

-  Maintain good leadership skills and be able to train and mentor the team 

-  Be able to communicate effectively, and work with production to set realistic targets and meet  them.  

Experience required:  

-  2+ shipped console title or equivalent 

-  Minimum of 5 years in experience in the games industry 

-  Experience in AAA games 

-  Excellent knowledge in Maya and Unreal Engine 4 

-  Experience working with Motion Capture Animation
